| This farmhouse, surrounded by green woods, olive groves and wineyards, has a marvelous view of the cliff of Orvieto. It is the quietest and most secluded of the farmhouses. The solidity and majesty of this rural structure bear witness to its history going back to Roman times. Many of the farmsteads on the Estate were originally Roman villae rusticae, well organized and furnishing Rome with wheat, oil and wine. |
