| The Castle seats in the Petroia farm ,that raises pure-bred Chianina Cattle in the pasture and horses. The Petroia Castle is situaded in Chiascio river valley, at foot of Appennini Mountains and in the center of many places of art and culture of Umbria,Tuscany and March. The countryside is hilly, having pasture ground intermitted with bush areas and with rocks yupping up fron the soil. The altitude of the farm goes from a maximum of 615 mt. to a minimum of 408 mt. above sea level, gradually decreasing from the top of the hills down to the Chiascio river. The Castle is at 500 mt above sea level. |
