| Hotel San Lino is a renovated 15th century convent rich in charm and fascinating history, situated within the medieval wall which surrounds the city of Volterra. The first extensive renovation was completed around 1982 and since then further modifications have taken place for the installation of essential modern day comforts. The utmost care has been taken to maintain the atmosphere of this historical building to which it was originally destined right from the first stone, which was laid in 1480. Therefore the bedrooms have been created from the original nuns' sleeping quarters. |
