| The holiday farmhouse "La Grotta di Montecchino" is situated on a hilltop some 5 kilometers from the medieval city of Siena, with a panoramic view over the rolling Tuscan countryside. It is immersed in the classic Sienese landscape with all its distinctive characteristics: the vines, the olive groves and the cypresses, and the patchwork of cultivated fields of corn and brilliant sunflowers that carpet the clay slopes, tamed and tended by centuries of peasant wisdom. The sweeping vista includes the towers of Siena on one side, and, on another, the deep shady woods which contain a variety of oak trees, and which hide the ancient remains of medieval fortifications. Clients are asked to make a downpayment of 50% (see the coordinate of bank in cancellation policies) when booking. We are plesed to receive payment by postal-order, bank-draft, or in cash. |
