| Before leaving, a visit to the Dispensa della Locanda (The Inn's Larder) is recommended, a shop attached to the hotel where it is possible to buy all the local products like chestnut honey, the wild berry liqueur and the fantastic cured meats of "Porcaro Medioevale" products of the Inn. In their Inn, Ercole and Roberta Lega are able to offer everything that is needed to organise a Medieval Wedding in Tuscany: · Realisation and management of the reception al fresco or undercover based on antique traditional Tuscan recipes (Medieval or not) realised with typical local products. · Put on any eventual choreographed entertainment such as Knights jousting, dancers, musicians, jugglers etc... Supply medieval costumes to the hosts and guests. Supply horses for the bride and groom. Locate accommodation in the area for the guests. The wedding could take place either in the centuries old chestnut grove or in the nearby fields at one of the ancient and romantic little churches which are in the area. Staying at the Inn is an experience dense in perception and serenity where the guest can revive times gone by in a suggestive frame of silent centuries old chestnut groves, and it will enrich the sensitivity of whoever should try it. |
