| The Filippov I hotel, established in 2003, is situated in the downtown of St. Petersburg, close to main tourists attractions, museums, night life, shopping areas and the business district. Numerous well-known restaurants, bistros and bars lie in the hotel's vicinity. The historical building which hosts the hotel was formerly owned by mercant Ivan Filippov. He was the official supplier of buns and bread for the Imperial Court.
