| Located in the city centre of Bologna, Il Convento dei Fiori di Seta (The Silk Flowers Nunnery) has been realized restoring the little church of the nunnery built in the 15th century and enlarged the 18th century. Historical chronicles report that in the nunnery gardens the nuns grew silk-worms. With the silk they created flowers that they sold to raise funds for charity. It is for this anecdote that the B&B takes its name. The lobby is located at the church entrance; breakfast is served in the altar area, with original marble and decoration; the roms feature original stone and brick walls and are located in the apse or in the bell tower, the lounge is situated next to the church main fresco painting that represents the Crucifix. The property is entirely no-smoking and the few rooms allow us to provide our guests with maximum care, comfort, relax and privacy. |
