There are two of us: Marinella, qualified as a professional accountant, and Dario the present writer who is a professor currently engaged in research at the university. We love simplicity, clarity of behaviour and things done well, as they used to be. We have tried to bring into fruition for ourselves and for you a common dream. We are a contented family (with two lovely children at present, Francesco and Andrea) living in a monastic complex dating from the 11th century, in a farm extending over a good 100 hectares (250 acres), in a city rich in history and culture, in a region famous throughout the world for its natural beauty.
